Graduado 2 veces de la Universidad Central del Este (UCE), como Médico General y luego como Marter en Medicina Familiar y Comunitaria. Un 3er grado asociado en Auditoría Médica basada en Evidencias, para perfeccionar las técnicas investigativas y lograr un manejo acertivo de expedientes clínicos. Asociado a la Sociedad Dominicana de Medicina Familiar y Comunitaria y mienbro activo del Colegio médico Dominicano. El médico familiar se convierte en el médico principal de sus pacientes, brindando atención médica de rutina, gestionando enfermedades crónicas y coordinando la atención especializada si es necesario. Algunas de las responsabilidades y funciones de un médico familiar incluyen: Realizar exámenes físicos y evaluaciones de salud periódicas. Diagnosticar y tratar enfermedades comunes, como infecciones respiratorias, enfermedades gastrointestinales, enfermedades cardiovasculares, diabetes, hipertensión, entre otras. Proporcionar orientación y educación sobre hábitos de vida saludables, prevención de enfermedades y manejo de enfermedades crónicas. Administrar vacunas y realizar inmunizaciones. Realizar procedimientos médicos básicos, como suturas, biopsias cutáneas, colocación de vendajes, etc. Derivar a especialistas cuando sea necesario y coordinar la atención entre diferentes proveedores de salud. Brindar atención prenatal y atención a recién nacidos. Ofrecer asesoramiento sobre salud mental y bienestar emocional. Atender urgencias y emergencias médicas.
